Our Leadership Team

Taran Sidhu

As CEO and Head of Outsourcing, Taran Sidhu leads all outsourcing operations across group delivery centers. In this capacity, Taran oversees Legal Support World’s outsourcing business operations, overall business strategy and manages all delivery, quality control and administrative services.

He has an extensive experience in the outsourcing industry providing consulting and advisory services to International Customers. His expertise includes business development, operations, performance improvement and strategic planning. Prior to LSW, Taran has worked in Senior Management positions with leading Indian outsourcing companies. He was instrumental in setting up independent profit centers in India and Latin America. Taran holds an MBA from Symbiosis, Pune.

Harjot Mangat
Director, LS

Harjot Mangat, serves as a Director at Legal Support World. Based in Toronto, he advises clients on legal solutions throughout that region. He has worked with a broad range of law departments and law firms, researching and addressing important issues around their business and operational processes.

He is a trained lawyer from India, MBA from Leeds Business School in England and has an Immigrant Consultant Diploma from York College. He has over 10 years of experience in the legal field and has been involved in sales training project for a multi-billion dollar company. He is a prolific writer and contributes regularly to South Asian newspapers in Toronto.

Manju Saini
Director Sales

Manju Saini, MBA (IIMA), has over 15 years’ experience in IT and BPO sectors across the globe (India, UAE, Japan and Australia) in various domains and functions.

She has worked on diverse engagements involving ERPs like SAP, Oracle and Microsoft. She has worked with Global companies like Societe Generale, Royal Sun Alliance, BNP Paribas, TNT and many others. She is proficient in senior stakeholder management and is result-oriented and dynamic. Having worked across diverse cultures and with excellent skills in planning & execution, she is proficient in handling global clients spanning multiple geographies, diverse industries (Banks, Insurance, Logistics, Pharma etc.) and large budgets.

Vice President

A passionate advocate with unique international work experience of over three continents, Deepa achieves success in diversity. She understands the power of hard work, adaptability and strategic preparation in overcoming the toughest challenges in life. It is with such dedication and global perspective that she advices her clients on complex legal issues.

Drawing on her roots, Deepa is passionate about delivering practical legal solutions and providing greater access to justice to clients. Deepa is a Barrister & Solicitor currently working in Toronto. She also has a MBA in Corporate Social Responsibility from Leeds Business School in Leeds, England. She also has a post graduate degree in Fundraising and Volunteer Management from Toronto, Canada.

She is also a lawyer in good standing with Bar Council of Delhi, India. Deepa has a broad range of experiences with Legal and Management services including drafting, advocacy, referrals, navigating clients through the legal process in a linguistically and culturally appropriate way. Deepa is also an alumnus of Leaders for Change program by Maytree Foundation that offers leadership development for social justice activists who are committed to making change through action-based poverty reduction initiatives. Deepa has been involved with issue of forced marriage and gender violence at the local and international level.

Training Head

Training involves inculcation of the basics of processes to new minds and retunes the minds according to the requirement. Ritu Kaushal’s seven years’ experience of teaching in Law School supplements the training process.

Post-graduation in Political science with specialization in comparative study of various constitutions including various judicial systems gives an edge in understanding the nuances of laws of various countries particularly U.S., U.K. France and Switzerland. Ritu Kaushal is a graduate in Law from Punjab University, Chandigarh and has a vast experience in legal services including contract drafting, drafting of motions, answers, PD discovery, title search, legal research and related documentation. She has served on various administrative bodies. She became the member of Board of Undergraduate Studies in Law of Punjabi University, Patiala from 2007-2009. This Board is meant for improving the standards of legal education, streamlining the examination system, noticing the emerging changes in the profile of legal field like legal process outsourcing and paralegals support services along with recommending the requisite amendments. This experience helps her in imparting training with correspondence to the changing legal scenario.

The candidates have to undergo series of interviews and written test to be part of the vibrant team at LSW.

LSW has developed in-house training modules with help of legal industry experts. Our training team ensures that each new Attorney undergoes a one month rigorous induction program. The program includes soft skills, computer skills, legal writing, introduction to the U.S. and U.K. legal systems, briefs on litigation document review, legal research and agreement drafting. Once the induction modules are over, emphasis is on project specific training.

If required, LSW also sends its transition manager onsite to understand clients’ business requirements and assist in knowledge transfer.
